Tami Hickman, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, FAARHM, AFMC, CCM is a trained nurse practitioner with 37 years of nursing experience and a US Navy Hospital Corpsman veteran. She is the founder of Divine by Design Health a private functional, integrative clinic with licensed providers in Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona who are certified and focused on treating patients with chronic complex cases and Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). Treatment of her own vectorborne, tickborne diseases and mold exposure have put her in remission and she understands the daily struggles a patient encounters. Tami has completed the CIRS Shoemaker Proficiency Partners Diplomate certification, completed her herbal medicine fellowship through the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine studying with the esteemed late Dr. Mary Bove and Tieraona Low Dog, and is certified in functional medicine through the School of Applied Functional Medicine, training through Cogence’s Functional Immunology program, functional nutrition and nutrigenomics training. Further training has been obtained via MAPS- Medical Academy of Pediatric & Special Needs for children with neuro-immune and neuro-developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and other complex chronic conditions and with International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society. Tami is a member of MAPS, ILADS, CIRSx, and CIRS Labs. Her clinic specializes in chronic complex cases that are often misunderstood.
